UNIK Biotherapeutics (UNIK) is a new spinout company from the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics (ICT) in Bradford UK. Its mission is to improve patient life quality via development of smarter, safer cancer medicines

 

UNIK's R&D is housed within the ICT, in a purpose-built facility that is world-renowned for research, training and partnership with industry. ICT's research excellence has been built over nearly 4 decades of cancer pharmacology, underpinned by substantial investment from industry and a wide range of funding bodies.

UNIK's assets are compelling because our therapeutic technologies are developed to be smarter and safer for clinical use. Specifically, UNIK's payload, linker and ADC technologies are game changers that retain cancer-cell killing efficacy whilst offering patients better quality of treatment through negligible toxicity to normal tissue.

UNIK relies on external partners in its R&D work with an approach to subcontracting research based on ambition to work with world-class experts and institutions that house state-of-the-art infrastructure and technology know-how.
